To unlock this feature, you need to obtain 100 points.
How to get an Island scan?
To activate the Island scan, you need to earn enough QR code points. Each QR code in the game corresponds to one Pokemon in the Pokedex. You can simply use the default camera to scan this QR code and feed them to your Pokedex.
How to scan the QR code?
- Start the game.
- Click the Menu option.
- On the following screen, click the QR scanner option.
- Now, place the camera over the Pokemon QR code and snap it.
Note: You can only scan 10 QR codes per day. Each scan will reward you with 10 points. If you reach 100 points, you can make use of the Island Scan feature.
